The Sea Gull Lighting Hettinger four light vanity fixture in brushed nickel offers shadow-free lighting in your powder room, spa, or master bath room. The Hettinger lighting collection by Sea Gull Lighting combines a traditional look with chic, modern charm. The minimalism of the tubular glass shades balances with the unique, outward-curve of the semi-circular arm detail. It's available in three finishes - Burnt Sienna and Brushed Nickel for the whole collection, and Chrome for the bath vanities. The assortment includes six- and nine-light chandeliers; a one-light wall sconce; two-, three- and four-light bath vanity fixtures; a three-light pendant and two- light semi-flush convertible pendant. Incandescent and ENERGY STAR-qualified LED lamping are available; all fixtures are California Title 24 compliant.

Absolutely love these lights! Small enough for my tiny bathroom but still elegant, classic, and yet modern at the same time. Plus, even after handling and installing them weren't covered in fingerprints that I needed to clean. There is nothing wrong with these in any way. That said, for easier installation you will need a circular jewel box and not the typical rectangular jewel box The mounting screws extend on both the front and the back sides of the mounting plate. I had rectangular jewel boxes from the old light fixture and had to drill holes in the wall to allow the mounting screws placed fit. Easy enough to do but thought I'd share the heads up.

    The lights seem to be fine - attractive even. Perhaps it’s not fair to complain about my order in this review . . . BUT I ordered two chrome lights. I received one chrome and one brushed. To be fair, I didn’t notice this error. My electrician installed them on each side of a mirror, as I wanted him to do and he threw away all of the packaging (so I can’t return the brushed one). Obviously the lights don’t match. Am I surprised my electrician didn’t notice? Not really. He’s a fine electrician, but he’s on autopilot when it comes to fixture selection. Now I have to buy another chrome light, pay to have it installed and throw away the brushed nickel fixture. Not happy.

    Good quality lamp for the price but annoying that the mounting hardware that is packed with the lamp is not typical. Didn't come with screws that usually accompany lamp fixtures to attach it to an ordinary blue plastic junction box. Yet, for fat hands, it comes with a one-time-use special plastic tool to tighten down the ring that secures the deep narrow glass shade -- very helpful -- but I'll never find it if the shade ever needs to be removed.
