This extension rod brought my new ceiling fan down to the recommended height for my 12' ceiling. I gave it five stars because it does the job but I ordered black and the box said black but the actual rod was gold. The electrician was already at my house when I unboxed it so I had to quickly spray it. It works and that's all that matters.
