The backstory. We were in a very nice high-end restaurant locally. We have been looking for pendant lights to hang over our kitchen island for months on end. I looked over by the windows and lo and behold or these beauties. The manager cannot tell us what we need to know about the lights, but Google lens did. It brought me to several versions of this, some of which were far more expensive than these. I took a gamble and ordered one of these to see if they were well-made, and boy were they.
Please note. These are very large, so check the measurements. The glass is super heavy duty and beautiful, and I feel like will be much dirtier than our beautiful blown glass pendants that hung before that were a catastrophe waiting to happen for our cleaning lady. By the way, we own the cleaning company.
We put Edison bulbs in these, and they produce such a ridiculous amount of light. One thing you may watch, is how you hang them because they produce shadows across the ceiling from the chains and wires that hold them. Ours are all in a line, so it kind of looks like a gray line across the ceiling. I guess you get used to it.
We were super Duper pleased with the quality of these. I feel like they can withstand the cleaning lady and my children and I feel a little bit better that there are others available online. I should probably buy an extra.
